Does anyone know if I can install Dev Studio on my home computer and VPN into work systems (for MR server access, etc) under the normal licensing agreements?
My work leadership is, shall we say, "hesitant" towards purchasing laptops for my team. Our remote work methodology is to remote control our work desktop machines via DameWare. This setup is less than ideal for a few minor reasons and I desire to work as natively as possible.
Can I do this under standard licensing agreements?

I would say you should ask your local rep about this.

Licensing questions aside, your connection to the remote system has to be through the Client. If that Client is accessible to you when you VPN in then you can set the environment up just as you do any environment.

Alex and Frank - Thanks for your replies. I expected both answers. Thanks for the confirmation!
As Frank says talk to your local Rep. The answer however will be you have to pay for every copy unless you have a network version and then you are allowed to use it as many times as you like upto the number specified in the license agreement

You need a license for each installation. You could remote into your office desktop.

I use 'Log Me In' to remotely connect to my desktop. (LogMeIn.com) There is a free version out there.
