I am trying to use the report caster scheduler to generate reports and store on our file server. The documents will stored as static documents on file server outside the WebFocus environment. How do I configure URL links to these pregenerated(static) reports within WebFocus? I would like the URLs to be visible to authorized users via the WebFocus Portal. This message has been edited. What about using the Report Library? You say that only authorized WebFOCUS Users should be able to see them. So it seems like the report library would be a good place to start. I haven't gotten to in depth with Portal yet, so I don't know how the Library would interact with Portal. But I would start there.

The reports will be pregenerated using the reportcaster scheduler and stored on an external storage location (not webfocus library/repository). However, we need to enable URL links to reports stored on the external file server from the WebFocus portal. The goal is to control access the report using WebFocus security features. For example, a report generated for user A should not be accessed by user B from the WebFocus portal.I am still new to the WebFocus application and want to know if this can be done.
