our application webfocus reports run on 7.1 version. one of the report is not getting generated in the application online screen. once we give the date range and submit to generate in excel format, a blank window is opened and after sometime it shows "page Cannot be displayed".
we checked in the logs and got the URL and tried generating the report from the URL, and it generates fine and it took around 15 mins to get generated. Can someone let me know why the rerport is not generating in webpage eventhough the URL working fine.

This is a ondemand report availble in our java application.

we are not seeing any errors in the log. The direct URL is working fine, but report not getting generated in our application. Plz let me know any more info needed

How are you calling WebFOCUS, and what are you doing with the returned report.

The basic assumption is that the report is being returned, but not handled.

the webfocus is called by the webservice and the reprot is generated in excel format.
it seems the report is generated but it is not getting apeeared in application

The question then is if the report being comsumed by your application.

Is there any debug/tracing option that can check this.

Have you tried calling the webservice outside of your application to check to see if the report is returned.
