I'm having issue's getting the portal menu (close, help, language etc) to stay in place when I have a custom banner in place.
When I edit the portal, I've changed the location of the menu to the top right and it shows correctly when I do it. However, when I save it, close the portal designed and edit it again, the menu is hidden again. Am I missing something or can you not have the menu sit on top of the custom banner?This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Emily McAllister>,

When I click banner in the breadcrumb it gives me the options of top, right, left, bottom. I only have a top banner so that's what I'm working with. It's just strange as it seems to show correctly in edit mode but when you save it and reopen, the changes aren't there.

Using the icons on the top left ribbon bar in edit mdoe, under the Layout Tab, you should see Navigation, Banner and Menu Bar. Click Banner's icon and see what's highlighted. You can navigate to the banner using bread crumbs but that doesn't tell you if the banner is on or off. It just takes you there.

Your banner is sitting on the top of the menu bar. I had similar issue, and I have resolved it by changing the z-index property of the menu item’s div tag via JavaScript. The key is finding the ID of the menu item bar. You can get it from browser developer tool by clicking F12. Then identify a html file on your portal that runs when portal opens. In its load event add parent.document.getElementById(‘MENUBARID”).style.zIndex = 100;
