On Webfocus 8201, user is running a webfocus report from an app that has a button on it that runs a url. When the user is signed on to WebFocus report runs ok, when they are not signed on they get the error message : Error : Access to item denied IBFS:/WFC/Repository/Sales/~otto/Report1.fex
Is there a setting that can be changed so that the WebFOCUS sign on page happens instead of the error message.

Could you check the value for IBI_Signout_Redirect_URL? The setting specifies the URL to which signed-out users are directed. By default, this is a slash mark(/), which brings the user back to the WebFOCUS start page, but you can specify another URL here. You can change it in Administration Console under Security.

That appears to me that the fex resides under your My Content folder which would require you share it with everyone or you need to develop it under a folder where everyone has access to it. In WF 8.2.01 WebFOCUS will automatically redirect the user after a session timeout happens to the login screen.
Thank you for using Focal Point!
