I have a requirement to create a report with excel 2007 template.

We have upgraded our WF server to 7704 recently, WebFOCUS New Features says we can make use of macro enabled .XLSM,.XLTM templates for EXL07 with the below statement.

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL07 TEMPLATE template_name SHEETNUMBER n

My PRINTSHEETS.xltm template is present in the Application folder.

I tried the same as below, but I get the error
Error:
0 NUMBER OF RECORDS IN TABLE= 18 LINES= 18
(FOC3231) CANNOT OPEN AN HTTP CONNECTION (EXCELSERVURL TEMPLATE)
(FOC3317) Failed to unzip EXL07 template file.

Request some help for resolution.

tHe filedef translates the filename with the extension you want.

Thank you for the reply.

We got a resolution and the problem is because of some server settings.


To resolve this issue, add the following entries for the macro-enabled workbook
and template into the \ibi\WebFOCUS77\client\wfc\etc\mime.wfs file:
.xlsm
application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.macroEnabled.12 binary
no XLSM no .xlsm
.xltm
application/vnd.ms-excel.template.macroEnabled.12 binary
no XLTM no .xltm
