I have a field in a page footer and some additional text. How can I put a border around the field only?

Can you adjust the margins of the report/page headers/footers? How?

Thanks,
Bethany

Right Mouse on the Header/Footer and select alignment grid. you should be able to adjust it by adding additional cells.

Hope this helps

Bethany,

You can target the field within a footing for additional styling by using the OBJECT keyword in the style. However, I'm not sure that any border styling will be effective -
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RCOST
    DCOST
BY CAR
BY MODEL
WHERE COUNTRY EQ 'ENGLAND'
FOOTING CENTER
"Costs for <COUNTRY </1"
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=FOOTING, OBJECT=FIELD, COLOR=BLUE, $
ENDSTYLE
END
-RUN

I added the border info to the style sheet but as you suspected, it didn't really make that change in the output.

Hi Bethany,

As I said, I didn't think the border styling would be effective Frowner
