SAP BW and chained parameters

Hi,

With SAP BW, when you have several parameters, they are all chained together so that if you fill in one parameter, all other parameter values are limited automatically.

I am wondering if such chained parameters could be developed using Developer Studio's Layout Painter.

Like so many other new visitors to this forum, the recommendation for you is to seek out training and have a look in the manuals.

Also use the (excellent) search facilities above right to look for "chain" to find some posts that have been entered on this subject before. This is a subject that is covered many a time and there is a wealth of info in these posts already.

Well done for adding your platform and version! To make things easier for you you should add this to your signature text (how to) and then you will always have the text posted for you when you choose to include your signature (default).
