How do I put today's date in a define_1 field in Infoassist?

I am using resources pane/query panel rather than webfocus code.

From the data menu, choose Detail (Define) then change the format to Date and choose the display options to whatever you want ie. MDYY). In the open space below type &DATEMDYY and your done. If you choose YYMD then use &DATEYYMD.
