Can someone please assist me with aligning multiple fields/text strings in my heading. I've been reading up on how to format headings using spot markers but I can't seem to get it working. See syntax below: HEADING "DATE: &DATEMDYY <+0> PAGE: $ TYPE=HEADING, LINE=1, OBJECT=TEXT, ITEM=1, JUSTIFY=LEFT, $ TYPE=HEADING, LINE=1, OBJECT=TEXT, ITEM=2, JUSTIFY=RIGHT,
I specified the Line because I have multiple lines in my heading. I'm trying to justify item 1 to the left and item 2 to the right. what am i doing wrong?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

TYPE=HEADING,HEADALIGN=INTERNAL,$ before your first LINE=n command, if you want left,center, and that's all you want. HEADALIGN=BODY is more flexible, but start with INTERNAL

I tried using the INTERNAL but no luck. Here's what I have: ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOLEAD ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * INCLUDE = endeflt,$ TYPE=HEADING, SIZE=9,$ TYPE=HEADING,HEADALIGN=INTERNAL,$ TYPE=HEADING, LINE=1, OBJECT=TEXT, ITEM=1, JUSTIFY=LEFT, $ TYPE=HEADING, LINE=1, OBJECT=TEXT, ITEM=2, JUSTIFY=RIGHT, $
Did I miss something?

For EXL2K, HEADALIGN=INTERNAL does not work, but HEADALIGN=BODY should...
TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"CAR REPORT"
"COUNTRY: <COUNTRY"
"CAR: <CAR"
" "
SUM
SALES
BY COUNTRY NOPRINT
BY CAR NOPRINT PAGE-BREAK
BY MODEL
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=HEADING, STYLE=BOLD, HEADALIGN=BODY, $
TYPE=HEADING, ITEM=1, COLOR=BLUE, $
END
