I would think this would be simple, but nothing I've tried works. I want to sort by the highest amount found in the cnt field. C1 doesn't work, nor anything else I've tried ... suggestsion??

TABLE FILE HOLDSAT
SUM
CNT.REPORT_NAME AS 'Count' COLUMN-TOTAL
BY HIGHEST C1 NOPRINT
BY NAME AS 'Report Name'
BY CODE AS 'Report Type'
END

Try using BY TOTAL CNT.field (sort after aggregation).

Example:

TABLE FILE CAR
  SUM
    CNT.SALES
  BY TOTAL HIGHEST CNT.SALES NOPRINT
  BY COUNTRY
END
