[CASE-OPENED] identify objects in multigraph
We have a multigraph (needed for bursting) with bubbles.
On the Y-axis they represent percentages (sales YtD this year compared to Sales YtD last year) and not to make the Y-axis too large we have limited the values to +25% and -25%.
Normally the bubbles are large dots (MarkerShape 2), but for the values higher than +25% we have changed the MarkerShape to an arrow-up (MarkerShape 6) and values lower than -25% an arrow-down (MarkerShape 5), so it is somewhat visible in the graph that the actual percentages are higher/lower.

The method we use is setMarkerShape(getAllSeries(),2) for the default, and setMarkerShape(getSeries(xx), 5 or 6) for the adjustments.

This works fine if we have only 1 graph. But when we introduced the multigraph for bursting into multiple graphs (needs to be bursted by ReportCaster) we noted this does not work anymore.
With getSeries() we can only identify the bubbles on the first graph, and adjusting the shape on the first graph means it is altered for all graphs whereas the percentages (Y-axis value) on the other graphs are different.

Does someone know how we can identify the bubbles on a specific graph in a multigraph? Or maybe have an alternative way of solving this?

regards, Martin.

Hi Martin,

A Graph expert has reviewed this topic. Would you please open a case on InfoResponse Online and upload example code along with screenshots?

Thanks and regards,
