HELLO EVREYONE, I WANT TO CALCULATE THE LENGTH OF THE NUMERIC FIELD AND I TRIED PCKOUT FUNCTION BUT I COULD'NT DO IT. FOR EXAMPLE LET THE FIELD BE CUSTOMERID AND IT HAS DATA 12345612 WITH THE FUNCTION I WANT TO RETURN THE VALUE OF CUSTOMERID AS 8. THANKS MADDY
The function ARGLEN will return the length of a character string. Even though the Customer ID field contains numbers it can be viewed as a character string.
