Im facing a problem while launching WebFocus. First of all i dont get the projects that i have created. Secondly when i open a fex file (through text editor) and run it it gives me an error
host not found in wfscom.wfs(30006). Please help. i dint do any changes in the config but suddenly i get this problem. Any solution to this?

If your last post about XALAN mismatch etc. you said that you problem had been due to .jar files not being in the correct path? How did this occur? and have you asked yourself if your new problem is as a direct result of the changes you (undoubtbly) made to overcome the XALAN problem?

It seems to me that you are having a "few" configuration problems. Are you in a position to reinstall? Failing that contact your local support and get some consultancy - I think you need it!

yeah u r right. the configurations are haywire. maybe i need to re-install

I'm having a terrible time installing and cofiguring 5.2.3. I'm a WF report writer of 4 yrs, and never had to do my own installations (am I spoiled or what?) It's installed again (3rd try), but I can't create anything in mre. Is it common to not get the settings right the first few times?

Any suggestions on how to get it completely right next time? I'm following the manual, but things still go wonky.
