Hi,

I have domain "XYA Domain" created which is running on the server "serv01" [UNIX] . All the standard reports which are under the domain running on the same server i.e.. "serv01". Whenever I submit these reports in deferred mode they were running fine and I was able to see those deferred submitted reports from the "Deferred Home Page".

Now, the problem is, I had a instance where in I need to run a report pointing to a different server "Serv02"[WINDOWS]. I have changed the fex/report level server settings from UNIX to Windows and tried to submit the report in deferred mode. I was able to submit the reports many times through deferred mode. However, at some point of time my "Deffered Home Page" is coming back with a message "MR_Unknown_failure , Node is missing from ODIN.cfg" and from there I'm continously getting the same error message every time I try to open the deferred home page.

I know since I have the server settings I'm facing this issue but, I was hoping irrespective of the server setting changes I expect the report to run and the deferred submitted page should show me the running status of the report but, in this case I'm getting a message "MR_Unknown_failure , Node is missing from ODIN.cfg"

Please let me know the possible reasons, apart from "changing different server names changes at fex/report level"

This issue might be more involved than what we can handle on the Focal Point Forum. There are questions that need to be asked and answered as well as a review of your system files, for that reason I suggest opening a case at the IBI Technical Support Center .
