I need Column Footing Totals. I have tried using ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTALS, I do not get any Column Totals Output. This is a 'MATRIX' Report
Here is my WF Code.
TABLE FILE ICSL ON COLUMN-TOTAL SUM 'CNT.ICSL.SEG01.EMPLID' ACROSS 'ICSL.SEG01.SEX' AS 'Gender' ACROSS-TOTAL ACROSS 'ICSL.SEG01.RESIDENCY' FOR 'ICSL.SEG01.ACAD_LEVEL_BOT' '05' AS 'UN' LABEL R1 OVER '10' AS 'FR' LABEL R2 OVER '20' AS 'SO' LABEL R3 OVER '30' AS 'JR' LABEL R4 OVER '40' AS 'SR' LABEL R5 OVER 'GR' AS 'GR' LABEL R6 ON TABLE SUBHEAD "Head Count by Gender, Residency & Academic Level" " [ &DATEDMY ]" HEADING " Summary Report for TERM 2010 FALL (1108)" FOOTING "&TOD " ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE *
Here is Rpt Output.
Head Count by Gender, Residency & Academic Level [ 10/05/10 ]
Summary Report for TERM 2010 FALL (1108)
Gender F M U TOTAL Residency NRES RES NRES RES RES
"ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL or BY fielname COLUMN-TOTAL" go.
How do I edit the WF Code in my initial post.
Here is my modified WF Code with the 'ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL".
TABLE FILE ICSL ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL SUM 'CNT.ICSL.SEG01.EMPLID' ACROSS 'ICSL.SEG01.SEX' AS 'Gender' ACROSS-TOTAL ACROSS 'ICSL.SEG01.RESIDENCY' FOR 'ICSL.SEG01.ACAD_LEVEL_BOT' '05' AS 'UN' LABEL R1 OVER '10' AS 'FR' LABEL R2 OVER '20' AS 'SO' LABEL R3 OVER '30' AS 'JR' LABEL R4 OVER '40' AS 'SR' LABEL R5 OVER 'GR' AS 'GR' LABEL R6 ON TABLE SUBHEAD "BoT Report - Head Count by Gender, Residency & Academic Level" " [ &DATEDMY ]" HEADING "Peru State College Board of Trustees Summary Report for TERM 2010 FALL (1108)" FOOTING "&TOD " ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE *
When, I place the "ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL" the WF CODE executes and the OUTPUT shows all Summary Details for each Dtl Column.
However, there is NO SUMMARY/GRAND TOTAL for each detail column and the TOTAL column?
The GUI likes to stick the ON TABLE NOTOTAL line into the code which, as Ginny mentions, overrides everything else you might try to do. Personally, I think the default should be to NOT put that line in and then if it appears based on something else you've added and you don't want it, you can then turn it off.
Regards,
Darin
