Hi All

can anyone tell me what a Reset Default does when creating a business view in AppStudio 8.2??

Does the reset puts again all the numeric fields in Measure Groups and alphanumeric fields in Dimensions? Even If I have saved my Business View before, after having shuffled fields between Measure groups and Dimensions?
Does this mean you should be very careful when using Reset Default. Because not all my numeric fields are Measures

I'm pretty sure it'll create a generic BV, erasing whatever you did before.

So what I say is true??

What is then the use of a Reset?? Really go back to the ultimate starting position?

I'm not sure but perhaps it's there in case you really mess things up and you want to go back to a generic BV.
