Please, can someone assist. I have many reporting objects that users open in infoassist. They do this by going to the dashboard, clicking Tree, right-click on the report and then selecting Infoassist.
But I intend to provide access to all the reporting objects via a HTML page/hyperlink. But when the link is opened, it runs the report directly but I will like the report to open in Infoassist so that the users can generate the reports they want.
Please, does anyone know how I can achieve this? That is to make a reporting object *.fex automatically open in an infoassist window via a html link. Thank you. This message has been edited. Last edited by: umun,
I recommend you enter a New Feature Request for this support. There doesn't appear to be a technique. Others are looking for variations of what you want. One popular request is to launch InfoAssist from a tab or a html link in BI Dashboard. There is a technique for the later but some limitations exist.
