We have several hundred users running deferred jobs that return either Excel or PPTs. Is there anyway to determine how many jobs are queued in front of them when they submit a run? Would really help manage expectations. ThanksThis message has been edited. Last edited by: FP Mod Chuck,
I'm trying to find some way to manage expectations.
According to me it's :
--> Nano-management <--
I personally think that you are loosing your time trying to manage this. I understand that people expect to have everything instantly, but if you already run the report as deferred, it's because you don't expect to have it fast (or due to volume of data) you agree to wait. I'm pretty sure that you can find a better thing to do to make your users happy :-)
