I had a user account in my system that was not workign. I deleted the user account; but when I went back to recreate this user account I started getting error message that user with this ID alread exist. I have done this before without causing this error. Does anyone know what is thats causing this error message? I have already looked for user ID under reporting administration, report caster, and SQL rcaster user table. User ID is not in any of these places. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
A MRE user has been deleted using the Managed Reporting Administration. The attempt to recreate this user failed with the error message that the user already exists.
The MRE authentication is against LDAP/Active Directory and authorization against SQL Server. The user could not be found in the SQL Server database, but the user was still available in the cache. Solution: Restarting the application server cleared the cache and the user could be recreated.

I was able to create the user account but user is not able to login. I am using LDAP authentication and user has no probem loging into domain or any domain authenticated application but webfocus.
