SQL Report created in WebFocus 7.7.02 developer Studio. Report displays fine in HTML and PDF, howeever, when output is changed to any version of Excel, report returns No query informatin to decode. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
I recently experienced this also and the problem was with some special Stylesheet parms used in Excel format.
If you comment out all your css formatting, does it work in Excel? Also, are you performing any special formatting for excel (image/logo?)? Comment that out and see. Then you know where your issue is.

popups are blocked, but site is allowed. Commenting out all CSS formatting does not correct the problem. No special formatting- character & numeric output only. Anything else possible?
Open a browser, select Internet Options/Security/Custom Level. Scroll all the way down to Scripting, make sure ‘Active Scripting is enabled’ then scroll down a little bit further to XSS Filter and make sure it’s disabled

Tried all of these suggestions to no avail. Finally was able to resolve issue by upgrading Internet Explorer to IE9. Thanks to all those who offered ideas.
