Anyone experience similar situ? In WF 5.3.x running Schedule 1. It has post process (test3) which contains a 'Dstrun' that's supposeed to invoke Schedule2. It does not. In 7.x it works though. Each schedule in 5.3.x runs fine by itself. Also, dstrun's &suberr yields 0 as its return code? Suggestions?
I ran into some limitations using DSTRUN. In fact, I think when we switched to use IWA, it stopped working completely. I would suggest getting on techsupport and doing a search because all of the limiations I ran into were documented.
We're actually using a web form now instead of calling DSTRUN in the fex. The web form uses the DSTRUNNOW action. We have pretty good luck with that, but it is still very limited. For example, we'd like to be able to pass multiple parameters to a multi-task job and basically DSTRUN and DSTRUNNOW will not support that. For that, I think you have to get into the JAVA API for RC.
Hope that helps...
