My business would like webfocus to create an excel spreadsheet that displays 2 digits after the decimal for an amount. That's simple. What they also want is what I don't know how to do and that is if they click on the amount (that is showing the 2 decimal places) in excel (exl2k), that they see 6 digits after the decimal in the function box (where you see the calculations and full amounts at the top of the spreadsheet). I've tried a variety of things but can't seem to get this to work. Is this even possible with webfocus? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Francis is correct, The reason is that WebFOCUS sends the numbers down using custom format and not number. That means you have to use a template/macro to set the excel display format.
