We just installed WebFocus 5.2 on a new server. Everything resides on the same box. All in all everything is working but when try to run a report within MRE a page comes up that says Invalid Credentials and prompts us for a id and password. Once I enter the server id and password the report runs. We do not want to enter this. Any ideas ??

Did you set the IBI_REPORT_USER and IBI_REPORT_PASS variables on the Administration console?

Cheri,

Security is very serious, and choosing the right security intergration solution is not a simple task. There are several questions that need to be asked and answered to assist you in choosing the right security architecture for your company. The above reply is a simple solution to your answer, But you really need to get with your local support branch and get them involved in choosing the right security architecture. If you use the above solution you need to be aware of the ramifications, one of which is that all request sent to the server run as that ID. This has it pros and cons.

Just wanted you to be aware.
