I need to put validations on the fields of the grid, so that I allow user to enter the value only of the defined datatype. I know this can be done using IBIValidation property in case of edit /multi edit boxes, but how can this be done on Grid?

This did not help much. I have a grid that has 10+ columns, and these columns are of different datatypes...datetime,Int,varchar etc, And I need to put validation on each column. So that I can restrict every column based on the data type associated

Please take a look at the QuicksetMask Fuction such as in [SOLVED] Read/Write numeric column values. Look for Maintain Wizards's updates.
