Can you please tell me how to establish many-to-one join in the desired direction between two tables, say, from table A to table B.This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
If possible, it is better to join from the smaller file to the larger file. If you want the data from the many (A) whether or not there is data in the one (B) then add: SET ALL=PASS or SET ALL=ON and do your join as mrguru suggested.
If you only want data where it exists in both files join from the smaller to the larger. JOIN FIELDX IN B TO ALL FIELDX IN A AS J1 TABLE FILE B
