Aaron M. ReiffChange Management
Good day - Has anyone successfully implemented any type of Change Management with WebFocus? Interested to hear how you've gone about it.

BlueZoneWe do have such sort of a thing Aaron. In our setup, we have the WF Client on Win3K and the actual EDA engine on the mainframe (where ALL our data resides).
For security and change control purposes, we maintain most of our FOCUS/HTML code libraries on the mainframe, under the auspices of our CHANGEMAN utility. This code is invoked from the MRE by a dummy fex which may have some very basic -SETs and a
-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE fexname
or
-MRNOEDIT -HTMLFORM htmname
based on what we are calling. And yes, this works with Caster'ed jobs too.
I am not sure if this helps your cause. If you would please update your signature to show your plaform too, my response would have been different.
Best Regards,
Sandeep Mamidenna.

RichHHi Aaron,
Check the WF Managed Reporting Admins guide (DN#4500690.0206). IBI has a Change Management Extract interface that can be used to move applications between development-test-qa-prod.
