I have tried to use PUTTDREC (new feature) in dialogue Manager, using WebFOCUS New Features 7.1.3 example (page 6-101) and I have any success. The output for puttdrec is always -1 which means that the filedef is not defined , but it is. I have copy and pasted the example but it did not work again.
I didn't notice that new feature. But I just tried it and it works. I get the return code of 0 on each line of the report, and when I FILEDEF to a permanent location, I can see the sequential file looking just like the example. On my copy of the new features book it is on page 6-99 (DN9400232.0206) I also got the Dialog Manager Version on the next page to run, by putting a -RUN after the FILEDEF (otherwise the DM commands run before the FILEDEF)
