I am trying to find a way to compare configuration settings bewteen instances without having to open a window in all three and eyeballing it. Does anyone know where these settings are stored. I am aware of admin.cfg, edaserv.cfg, odin.cfg and the backup utility for these on the server. What I am looking for are the settings you can change in the Portal Administration for example administration/configuration/ client_settings/general or administration/configuration/Application Settings Account Policies. I would think these would be stored somewhere in a file or database table, but I cannot find them

Hi Janice,

Much of the information that you're looking for is contained in the following files:

cgivars.wfs in \ibi\WebFOCUS77\client\wfc\etc
site.wfs in \ibi\WebFOCUS77\client\wfc\etc
mrrealm.cfg in \ibi\WebFOCUS77\config
webconfig.xml in \ibi\WebFOCUS77\config

Regards,

Kathryn
