FOCdeveloperApp Studio 8.0.0.9 Do not see files for Applications folder
Happy New Year to you all:
Just started with WF 8.. Have installed it on a Local Server. in the App Studio, under the Environment Tree, Do not see files associated with Folders.
Created another App Folder and created a Test Fex.. DO not see it listed under the App Folder..
On the Environment Tree, Show all files icon is clicked..
Anyone has experienced this issue or I am missing something..
Thanks

Ram Prasad EIs it your local app folder. If so, are you able to see in your local physical path like C:/ibi/apps/
/
Thanks,
Ram

<Emily Duensing>Ensure you have the right security privileges to create and write to app folders on the Data Servers node.

Emily.. I was going to look at that.. FYI I installed it locally.. TomCat is running.. but WebFocus Server for App Studio is on Manual, when I start the service, it comes back with the message Started but due to some service not running Stopped..

RifazI faced these kind of issues, when I installed new Developer Studio. Sometimes,Tomcat or local Reporting server won't start.
Go to path of environmental variable settings, check your Java settings.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\jre\bin\server;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\bin
Also, your Tomcat-->Java tab.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_40\jre\bin\server\jvm.dll
