Hi,

I try to implement this how to, Displaying PDF BLOB Data From Within a WebFOCUS Web Application but I receive an error when I run the fex that get the BLOB from database.

I have debugged the fex and I discover that the problem in related to this snippet of code

TABLE FILE PERFAPP
PRINT PERFAPPPDF
WHERE PERFAPPID EQ &PERFAPPID
ON TABLE HOLD AS HLDBLOB
END
-RUN

The error is (FOC1426) DATA ELEMENT VALUE TOO BIG FOR SEGMENT/FIELD : PERFAPP/PERFAPPPDF

I run the same snippet on my datamigrator server and it works fine.

My production environment is WebFOCUS 82 Server Release 8203M gen 1337

Do you know if there are some setting to using blob in reporting server?

I found this technique and it does not mention any special settings but I would suggest you check the master file being used in both environments to insure the field ACTUAL and USAGE are BLOB
