I'm trying to determine why a Basic User isn't able to see the Auto Link option when they run a chart that's been enabled for Auto Linking. When logged in as an Advanced User, I can demonstrate that it works correctly: I can run the main chart, hover over the bars and see the Auto Link option, with the available Target report. I click on the name of the Target report, the parameter is passed correctly and the Target report runs.
However, when logged in as a Basic User, I don't see the Auto Link option. The Target report is located in the same folder as the calling report, and has been published. The Basic User can run the Target report independently, if they know the values for the parameter.
So it doesn't appear to be a security problem on the reports. I'm wondering if it's a larger security issue: that we're missing a privilege or setting that would enable Auto Linking for a Basic User.
Is anybody aware of any such setting or privilege?

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but if you've upgraded from an earlier version of 8.x, make sure to go into Admin Console and run Role Update Utility to make sure there aren't any privilege differences.
