I have created a simple graph to test how to manipulate labels, and I have a question.
quote:
GRAPH FILE CAR SUM SALES BY CAR ACROSS COUNTRY
ON GRAPH PCHOLD FORMAT PNG ON GRAPH SET LOOKGRAPH VBAR ON GRAPH SET GRAPHEDIT SERVER ON GRAPH SET BARNUMB OFF ON GRAPH SET 3D OFF ON GRAPH SET VZERO ON ON GRAPH SET GRID OFF ON GRAPH SET GRMERGE ON ON GRAPH SET GRMULTIGRAPH 0 ON GRAPH SET GRLEGEND 1 ON GRAPH SET GRXAXIS 1 ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE * setLegendDisplay(false);
setFillColor(getSeries(0), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(1), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(2), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(3), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(4), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(5), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(6), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(7), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(8), new Color(0,0,255)); setFillColor(getSeries(9), new Color(0,0,255)); ENDSTYLE END
As you can see, along the x-axis the graph displays the name of each country.
However I have been looking through the Perspective for Java Programmer's Manual to figure out how to flip the orientation of the country name from:
E N G L A N D
to display as:
ENGLAND FRANCE JAPAN , etc.
Has anyone done this?
Thanks! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Open it in Graph Assiatant / Goto the Properties Tab / Goto the Xaxis Tab (Xaxis Label Properties opens) / Check the checkbox (upper left corner) / Change the "Text Rotation" as desired.
Good Luck, Doug
