I've spent a while searching for some useful documentation on .sty stylesheets.
By now I would have expected to find a document explaining: 1) which report elements support which styling keywords, 2) legal values for all styling keywords, and 3) any general rules about the language (e.g. which styles contradict each other or are incompatible).
So far all I have found is some rather weak documentation about style inheritance and where to find the sample stylesheets. Despite our account manager's insistence that everything in WebFOCUS can be achieved through the UI I have finally learned that the Developer Studio is just for show. I'm now hoping to familiarise myself with what's required to code up reports by hand.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
WebFocus 7.7 Windows Server 2008 R2 HTML Reporting
I don't think you'll find documentation specific to .sty. Styling (in code) is documented all over the "Identifying a Report Component in a WebFOCUS StyleSheet", "Laying Out the Report Page", "Using Headings, Footings, Titles, and Labels", "Specifying Font Format in a Report" and probably other chapters of "Creating Reports With WebFOCUS Language" - there is no ONE document to view.

If you need such a document in a bad way, you might check out the "WebFOCUS Keysheet". I don't have it, myself, so I can't tell you everything that's in it, but it looks like something I would like to have!
I shall refrain from derogatory comments regarding IBI documentation. . .
Kerry - Customer Education has a course (212) that was on Stylesheet References. It is an older course, but the material hasn't changed too much, I think. The customers might be able to purchase something this way that might meet their immediate needs.
While I don't have any reference number for it, I am in possession of a document titled "FOCUS Quick Reference Reporting Handbook" which has a section on "Using StyleSheets" which I have found to be very helpful (although, as a handbook: it's a bit light on the information). But, it has several of the SS keywords and syntax...
I'll look for updates on this handbook here and at Summit `12...
