Problem with WF_SIGNON on an AIX (UNIX) server

My client is having an unexplainable problem with WFSIGNON in a self-service application.

I created a login page that passes
IBIC_user
IBIC_pass
IBIWF_action = WF_SIGNON
WF_SIGNON_MESSAGE = url to a fex

The client gets a 32035 error - LOGON FAILED - PASSWORD HAS EXPIRED

But the UNIX password has not expired - they can login via a UNIX SSH client.

What could be going on?

Thanks.

Francis

Do you get the same error for all users or just one particular user? If only one could it be a permission problem.

Are you passing "IBIMR_random" ?

Using CGI or WFServlet?

It's a self-service application, so no IBIMR_random, though I am passing a random value in another form object.

Users can login until something makes their passwords expire, but only for WebFOCUS. It's only for some users - but consistent for those ones.

It's Servlet.

Is WebFOCUS reading some cached user/password table, while the SSH client is using the actual table?

The problem seems to have been resolved.

Apparently there were some crashed/aborted agents for those users. Once the agents were killed, the users could sign on.

Mystery to me.
