Thanks Ram for the help. But I am looking for swaping the reporting level. I guess the example that i have given is misleading. the report that gets generated contains reporting structure for each executive. So we have different levels in this, what i am trying to do is to make an executive who is at say level3 to report under level4. Your help and guidence is appriciated.
There is no SWAP functionality, but this is a pretty simple define. DEFINE FILE filename COLUMN_FIRST/20=IF condition THEN COLUMN1 ELSE COLUMN2; COLUMN_SECOND/A20=IF condition THEN COLUMN2 ELSE COLUMN1; END TABLE FILE filename PRINT COLUMN_FIRST COLUMN_SECOND END
Regards,
Darin
