I have a CSS file accessible via an alias on the HTTP Server. HTML Tool won't let me browse to it (you can only browse to things in MR..). I can manually edit the path and it works fine but every time I open it in the tool it changes the path (SIGH).

Any ideas?

Instead of putting the css file on the HTTP server, put the file in one of the app directories, it will be available throught the approot alias, and available through the HTML Editor.

If you have a single tier environment, Yes the reporting server.

If you have a multi tier environment, then No.

Either way Web server will have an alias of APPROOT. Find out where this points to and use one of these directories.
