Maintain - How to activate a grid on loading form

I get the message "Press SPACEBAR or ENTER to activate and use this Control" on a grid that contains read only items. I am using Javascript focus() to activate the grid when the form loads, but can't get it to work. Can some provide the proper syntax?

WebFOCUS 8.1.05/PMF 8.1.4,Tomcat,IIS,Windows/iseries,sql server 2008,Excel/ PDF/HTML

Hi dcorp,

I posted the same question on here in august , i also openend a case for this , and information builders , gave me a patch to fix this problem , which version are you on?

Maintain Wizard

This is due to a security patch that Microsoft distributed. Please open a case with Customer Support and we can get you a patch to stop the message.
