Using FOCUS for z/OS, we've just upgraded from 7.1.1 to 7.6.4.
We are now beginning to use FORMAT EXL2K.
Question 1:
What is the industry term, for the type of language that FORMAT EXL2K uses?
From viewing the output file, I believe that it might be 'Extensible Hypertext Markup Language', but I'm not sure.
Question 2:
When downloading from z/OS to the desktop, what would be the best file extension to use?
From testing, I believe the extension to use might be '.xht'. ('.xht' seems to be associated with MS Excel within both my desktop and mail client.)This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
