I have a requirement where in i have to display the output in the form of a .GIF or .JPEG format report and not HTML . The output is the time when the data mart was last loaded.
They will ask the admin to display this .gif or.jpeg report output in the banner of the BI Dashboard.
This report will be scheduled hourly using Unix script so that the timestamp gets refreshed in the dashboard.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
(I searched the forum and found that we can embed .jpg or .svg images in PDF reports...)
Did not try this, but I'd try to create a very small graph, give all components the color white, except the heading in which I'd put the timestamp. Save the graph as a gif and - voila!
Hope this helps ....
