Hi!
The scenario is as follows:
We have a bunch of users belonging to groups that allow them to open InfoAssist based on a .mas file.
Is there any way to restrict to only some .mas files?

Thanks in advance!

There might be other ways to do this but here's how I tried it in 8.201. I think the screens are pretty much the same as other 8.x releases.

Log in with Admin to WebFOCUS and expand the Reporting Server; expand the app folder all the way to the individual Master files. (The metadata is not in the repository so you have to go to the Reporting server to do this.)

Right click the Master file and click Security then Rules....

Click Users Tab. Select the user you want to restrict.

Under the Rules for User, click ListAndRead and change Access to Denied.

From that point on, the user will not see that particular master.
