I have an HTML page with a menu of several options from which the user can choose. Each option has a hyperlink which opens its own HTML page. This HTML menu was created in Dev Studio in WF version 7.
We're now using WF version 8.2.02 and App Studio. I want to change some of the hyperlinks from our menu to open up HTML pages in another folder (application).
I can go to the Requests & Data Sources panel and select & right click the applicable Request for the hyperlink I want to change. I can then select Change Request.
But then - in the Open File window - it only lets me choose HTML pages from the same folder/application (or sub-folder) I'm already in.
How do I select an HTML page which is in another folder/application?

What I ended up doing was to edit the HTML code via Notepad and use a different application (folder) than the one created from the GUI.
However, I've noticed that when I've edited an HTML page using Notepad, when I open it later on in App Studio, I'll get a message saying it was manually edited and may not be usable.
However, one of my HTML pages (created in Dev Studio version 7.7) that I wanted to make a minor change on (just changing some text) became unusable after I made the change in the GUI in App Studio. For that, I needed to change the text (on a copy of the original HTML) by editing the HTML - and it now works fine in our version 8.2.02.
Thanks, Mark
