caster HTML and GIF

Hi Everyone.

We need to schedule a report in Caster in HTML format with a graph in GIF format in it. Here is the tricky part. We do not want to save the gif on our webserver and then point to it. That we can do.

Rather, we want the gif to be included as an attachment in the email. In other words, the resulting HTML that the user receives from Caster should point to <img src='x.gif'> where x.gif is attached in the email and not <img src='http://whatever/x.gif'>.

And yes it has to be HTML and not pdf (which we know how to do of course).

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Jodye

As a followup... we have been told by IBI that this is a new feature request.

It is not currently possible to send a report through caster in HTML format with references to physically attached gifs. We can attach the gifs in the email but referencing the GIFS in the html output does not work.
