I'm beginning to realize that Maintain is a separate product. But is it possible to use it without the product. I can create .mnt files, but I can't figure out how to wire them up to the forms. The documentation seems to only talk about an Maintain Dev environment. This message has been edited. Last edited by: mbondr,

Maintain is not a separate product any longer, it's actually incorporated into App Studio. You also really need to have a Maintain license, otherwise on all your Maintain forms you will see the watermark, "Demo Version".

What do you want to use MAINTAIN for? If you are not designing a highly interactive updating application, but just need a bit, you could use MODIFY, the MAINTAIN ancestor, with an HTML form. MODIFY is free.

The Maintain Development Environment is now part of the HTML Composer, but yes, still does require a separate license to use. It seamless combines the back end Maintain logic with the front end forms. What's nice is they can all now be created with the same tool.
