Hi, I have 2 applications like this: .NET with IIS server JSP/Servlets with Apache Tomcat
Can they both connect to the same WF reporting server? How would I do this? In my case the IIS and APACHE are in different locations and the WF reporting server is in a different location.
Also is Web Focus Web SErvices a separate product as such. I have installed WF7.1 in my machine and there is no folder to access:This message has been edited. Last edited by: Karanth,

Karanth,
You can have both your .Net apps and JSP stuff can connect to the same WF reporting server. Also, having all components on a different platform is not a problem. Consult you install and admin documentation and pay careful attention to nTier installations.
Now, for IIS you have the choice of using cgi or servlet. I would suggest servlet. If you choose to use sevlet, then you will need to get the Jakarta IIS Filter plugin so that you can forward the servlet requests from IIS to Tomcat.
As for Web Services, they are available simply by installing the product. However, they are a separate license to use them. If you use your browser to get to the webfocus application homepage (http://:/ibi_apps/homepage.jsp), you will see the Web Services for both WebFOCUS and Report Caster as options. Follow those links to identify the WSDLs.
