Hi all
i worte the code like
Table file emp
Heading Center
"Report"
Print ename eage
on table save as dd1
end


only it shown the output of the table but it not shown the heading in the file
please help me how solve the problem

Using 'save' strips the headings when no format specified especially - I believe the default is alpha. What are you wanting to do with the report?

It assumes that is you are doing ON TABLE SAVE that you are wanting a file, not a report. So it does not put in a heading. If you want a text file with headings, try ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT WP. Otherwise, just take out the ON TABLE SAVE line and you get headings.
