We are planning on an upgrade to 7.6 tomorrow morning and would like to review our current server architecture before proceeding.
Currently we are running two webfocus servers seperately, one has the WF reporting server (Dell Win2003 w/ 4 gb ram) the other has the WF Client and IIS/Tomcat installed (IBM xSeries Win2003 on a celeron equivalent with 1 gb ram)
We are seeing minor lag with just one user at this point, and we'd like to know what we don't understand how webfocus works well enough to say that the WF Client server should be faster than the reporting server, etc.
The whole enchilada was set up over a year ago, and everyone seems to be a little fuzzy on why we went this route.
Prod: Single Windows 2008 Server running Webfocus 7.7.03 Reporting server Web server IIS6/Tomcat, AS400 DB2 database.
