Understanding Software Accessibility in WebFOCUS Information Builders is committed to providing high-quality products and services that are both useful and accessible to all potential users, including individuals with disabilities. As such, we proudly support the goals of the U.S. government in implementing the new Federal regulations directed at broadening the availability of electronically delivered information.
Information Builders software products, to which Section 508 accessibility standards are applicable, generally fall into the following categories: - Tools that application developers use to build systems to deliver information. - Tools that allow end users to perform their own ad hoc query and reporting activities. In both cases, the information and data that is delivered as a result must be accessible and in conformance with the standards. In the case of end-user driven systems, the tools must also comply with the standards of accessibility.
