We are setting the format as I11B which is to formating the negative value data with bracket.
This logic works for normal Exl2k format.
If we use the logic by set the output format by
SET FORMTYPE=XLS; then not working. Its give the output with - Symbol instead of bracket.

Any idea on this?

Could you post an example of the problem using the CAR file?

I have tried simple examples but SET FORMTYPE=XLS shows the brackets in EXL2K and HTML formats in 7.7.02
