Whoa! At some point today our MRE started looking to an OLD basedir repository as though it was set to Internal for authorization. We haven't used the Internal security method for a few years now since we migrated to using a SQLMSS repository.
All of a sudden users couldn't get logged in, large portions of the current user population just disappeared in the MR Administration console. Those that did exist were assigned to old groups. Kind if had me worried for a few minutes.
The only thing that fixed it was manually setting the Authorization mode to Internal, saving the settings and then setting it back to External.
Anybody else seen anything like this before? Should I chalk it up as "one of those things" or should I be worried about other ghosts in the machine?
BTW - we're running Server 7705M and Client 7703 HF6.This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
